I have served on the board for St. Anthony NE Condominiums (SANE), a 42-unit building in Northeast Minneapolis, for the past three and a half years. During this time, I have worked closely with the property managers at ASK Property Management (ASK). My experience with ASK includes establishing annual budgets, preventative maintenance to our building and grounds, and larger capital projects. In my opinion, ASK is very well managed. The staff is knowledgeable and dedicated to our success.

When I joined the board, we had just switched to ASK. They were very helpful with the transition between management companies, even going so far as to physically go to our previous management company and get all our records.  They also spent months organizing our records which had previously just been thrown into a box. Additionally, one of the main reasons we switched to ASK was because of their boiler maintenance. With our previous management company, we´d have at least three heating emergencies each winter season. Since we´ve been with ASK, we´ve had NONE! It´s amazing how a company with knowledgeable staff has saved us thousands of dollars from emergency calls.

My first two years I served as Treasurer. ASK was great with helping us with our budget, getting us financial records every month and making sure all our bills were paid on time.  Additionally, ASK advised us to get a better bank account and other investments, as our money was just sitting in a low-interest bearing savings account. 

I currently serve as the President. This year, we began the arduous task of replacing five exterior doors and installing a keyless entry system.  Our property manager was great. She handled getting vendors to the property, getting us seven different bids, having vendors come to our meeting so we could ask questions, and so much more. ASK was even on-site during construction. This is a $30,000 investment and we wanted to make sure we got it right. With the help and guidance of ASK, I am positive we did get it right. 

ASK is a great company, offering tremendous service at an affordable price. If you decide to go with them, you will be as thrilled (and stress-free) as I am!
